Hotel Montemar

The hotel is located on a small hill with a side view of the sea. In The hotel brochure is 400 meters away from the beach, these we didn't found.

Portals nous is a lovely little Edelort with some opportunities for shopping, luxury hotels and restaurants.

If you want to party or nightly maintenance value should avoid this place, it is completely dead. We went for walks over to peguera risks, there is a beautiful boulevard.

The staff was always friendly and tried to help. Unfortunately some of the staff didn't understand English which made the communication sometimes considerably difficult.

Complaints in front desk unfortunately, skillfully ignored.

The room was cleaned every day. These limited to beds interpret and new towels. Clean is in this hotel a foreign word. It was cleaned in two weeks( obvious) not at all. The dirt was in the room when we arrived and when we went. In the room without shoes not possible.

We had booked half-board. Breakfast gave it from 8:00 to 10:00 o'clock, Dinner from 20:00 until 21,30 o'clock.

There was a bar, but never occupied and visited and a restaurant, but unfortunately for the number of the guests was too small. It came with us several times to the front of the restaurant we had to wait, because there was no space.

The food was rather English and German message out, if you don't have to dial the area you could always find something. For the most demanding eater the restaurant is not recommended.

The dinner consisted of salad, three sorts of pasta and potato salad (very delicious), olives, beetroot, two kinds of meat (either turkey, chicken, pork, beef... Tough and not recommended), various vegetables, pasta with sauce and every evening a different form of paella, pudding, cakes, fruit. Everything is completely unseasoned. In the evening one could become the vegetarian, since all of the meat dishes not to be recommended. Only the cold hors d'oeuvres are recommended.

If you are not overly picky with food for breakfast and dinner actually always something, but is a meal in the hotel is not recommendable.

The restaurant is run by a lady and a gentleman, the lady was about the hotel of the guests hard, the waiters was not a real and was only stehtst in the pursuit of the dishes of the guests. Here should be on plates and silverware be respected, since these simply be he cleared even when you were still not ready. A condition of the guests didn't just remove the plate!

Sports and entertainment we didn't use taken, but it was not available. The already mentioned mini-golf course was not playable.

The pool area was hard at the border. The pool chairs were old and dirty and from several colors and together. The beach chairs stood total in the chaos and were not even in between from a staff properly stocked organized. The cushions for the beach chairs were filthy, total flat and full of holes and cracks. Here you should better not pay extra.

The quality of the pool was very good for swimming. Unfortunately but this was during our cleaned. Unfortunately, as we had four days to use had to wait, since it only a small garden hose was filled!

the room was dirty and the furniture, as well as the bathroom are very much in need of refurbishment. We have stayed in many three star hotels in mallorca and are therefore not spoiled. This hotel has a maximum of 1 star. Totally unacceptable in such a sublime town.

the room has not been opened as usual today with a map, but very traditional with a key. We arrived at night and had to immediately see the two lamps in the room only a worked.
