Location was good, everything else not. *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is small and familiar, which is very comfortable. The hotel is overall old, with old furniture, machines and sanitation.
Location
Very nice location on the hill, not in the middle of the city; a bit isolated and thus very quiet. It is 15 minutes away by foot from the city centre. The transfer time to the airport was very good, even though the bus driver was a bit too slow.
The service was halfway good. There was an importunate waiter in the restaurant. The receptionist was smoking all the time, but the bartender was very nice and he was younger. The room's cleanliness ok. The cleaning lady was very nice. The tour's manager, Stephanie Lutz, was not helpful to us. Everything else was good.
Gastronomy
One can be said? We ended up having food poisoning for two days; we had to lie in the uncomfortable beds and see what the restaurant's food did to us. Poor choices during dinner, but the breakfast variety was bigger and good. Probably there is no cook, but the bartender is the one cooking maybe. ...book with breakfast, it is worth it. There are plenty of restaurants in the city.
Sport & Entertainment
The pool was clean, but it had weird yellow edges. The view of the sea was really nice.
Room
Small, with giant mildew stains on the wall. It was halfway clean. The beds were really uncomfortable. When we came the washroom's door worked, after 30 minutes the door did not work anymore, just like that. We tried everything but nothing worked. We asked in the reception for help, but they did not care; fortunately, the bartender came and tried to help us. That was in the afternoon, but we had to come back at night with the same problem. The bartender helped us again, and he tried everything but nothing worked. He ended up making a hole in the door.
Tips and recommendations
The staff is not worried about the guests' needs. Widely absentee and artifical friendliness.
