Hotel Mountain Thunder Lodge

As I said in or on a side street off the highway 9 , d. H. the Ortumgehung from Breckenridge. The Breck/connect gondola is just across the street (once through the tunnel or on the street and you're in the parking lot). Over the parking lot but has the gondola is only 2 minutes from Main Street, with its shops and restaurants. The City Market (grocery store) is about 3 minutes by foot below the gondola (but who needs the States by foot). Right on the area leads past the "Four- O'clock run", d. H. the exit from the ski area! It is a real ski-in/ski-out - Lodge! If you want to ski areas in the other, can get comfortable in the morning in the garage and is right across the highway. The hotel has its own shuttle, which was a (for a small tip) everywhere in Breck and also in the other Skiegebiete (! ) Free. Just call say. Small drawback in summer is less focused on the slopes and the gondola, so rather the Main Street is the focal point. But there are also at best it 3 minutes' walk away.

Friendliness, helpfulness, competence, check-in, dealing with the complaints and the mentioned above. Shuttle deserve 6 stars Bryce, but all the other at the front desk are great competent and nice. They remembered us and cleared us a "come-back bonus".

There were at least 2 fitnessraeume (one in the main building, in another building). Clean and well equipped, and in addition, there was always empty, we enjoyed it! 1 Pool and 2 hot tubs in the courtyard (p. O. ), with all the other 3 hot tubs located on the property. From the condition, warmth of the water etc. There was nothing to complain about. The only complaint would be the size of the pool is not that special, but was full but not…

Large 1 (or 2 ) Bedrooms with a full kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer etc. ), Fireplace, balcony and bathroom. Super nice decorated and not run down. 2 TVs, (in the living room and in the bedroom). And (unlike many other Americal hotels) not noisy. The neighbor barely. Even the windows were good standards and kept cold and noise outside. Now, they - we actually had the same room as in the winter - the carpet and a bit of renovation.

Breck offers not only for skiers. We found a couple of lovely Rennradtouren up that super adjusted bike trails Keystone, Breck and Frisco. But also to Vail/pass, copper and Vail has the cycling very enjoyable experience.
