Hotel Mykonos Grand

The hotel was in a good condition, well maintained and clean, but it is true value for money at all. Without book half board which weren't acceptable. The food in the restaurant and the pool bar (restaurant) are completely excessive. For a greek salad you pay €14 , for main courses between €20 and €35 . For a simple “espresso 5 € and a cocktail between €14 and €17 . The food is only average, not gourmet. meantime, this word for guests, so in the evening (107 rooms) about 20 tables (in the time from 7 PM to 11 pm) for the dinner hour. The hotel seems at all to be dead at night. Not at the pool bar, nor in the nice cocktail bar guests stay. Dreary. The rooms are nicely decorated, but very loud. You get from adjacent rooms next door and above or below with everything. As the commanding are lined with marble, transfers itself every step and force. Therefore there were more often complaints at the management. The beach is not very nice. Small and not enough beach chairs (inconvenient position, as the beach to steep) and getting into the water is very difficult, as everything with stones and rocks. The neighboring restaurant (one could also see fish) is dingy and has the same high prices (€90 per kilo fish) as the hotel restaurant. Even in the center of Mykonos there is no expensive restaurant as on this beach section. The service is good, the people are very nice and accomodating. The guests were international (very many Americans and Italian). Also are incredibly small children in the hotel have been much in this so called chill-out hotel but for some difficulties so special. The hot tub was so constantly occupied by children.
