New four-star hotel in a convenient location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe NH hotel opened in April 2009 ,, therefore the hotel in top condition. The hotel has about 10 floors and is in a modern architecture. In the hotel were mainly Dutch, but also a few French and German. At the time there is the breakfast included in the price.
Location
It doesn't get much better, and the hotel is right on the inner ring, that means you need only a 5 minute walk to the center. Just provided you need by car from the highway. The train station is approximately 200 meters from the hotel. Parking in the garage is free of charge.
There are only positive note, they are all very friendly and efficient. You could get along with German in the hotel no further, you should be at least speak English or Dutch.
Gastronomy
We only ate breakfast at the hotel tested. This was very good choice and quality. It was a buffet, which was constantly refilled. The tables were always cleaned right as soon as a guest was ready.
Sport & Entertainment Unused
Room
The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. Safe, air conditioning, LCD-TV, telephone, minibar and coffee maker. The rooms are not thin and also the other noise is low. The rooms were always thoroughly cleaned and the towels and sheets changed daily. For 4 stars were the rooms although a little on the small side, but perfectly adequate.
Tips and recommendations
For a visit to Amersfoort and the surroundings, the hotel simply great, Amsterdam is only 45 km away and easy access to the motorway.
