Disappointed in Crete
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel is in dire need of remodeling, and hiring more housekeeping staff. The ladies they have simply cannot keep up with 500+ rooms, plus pools, restaurants, and ect. The food tends to be greasy, salty and fried, which is strange considering Cretan cuisine. The juices and soups are all from concentrate. Scrambled eggs at breakfast are from egg powder as well. Kids table is mostly fried too, not terribly healthy. The pools are in good shape, the kids playground is not bad, but has serious signs of wear and tear. Furniture in rooms is falling apart....we had a broken dresser, the bed was caved in (and not built for anyone over 185cm).
