Hotel Nana Beach

The hotel has its own sandy beach. Thre is very little close to the hotel, althogh Malia, a short wlk away is a pleasant sea side resort. Busses stop right outside the hotel, although the timing of them is not very reliable.

The service in all parts of the hotel was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and had a working knowledge of English. The check-in was easy with baggage transport to and from our rooms. The response to requests for extra blankets and towels was very swift.

Thre is one main restaurant with an excellent selection of buffet style food. There are also a number of snack bars providing beer, soft drinks, burgers and pizzas. Thre are three themed a la catre restaurants. One Italian, one Greek and one Fish. Here I must say that thre food was very poor, particularly the fish resuarant where the food was inedible.

Although we did not use the sports or entertainment facilities they were all available and of a high standard. There were five pools with one especially for children.

Our rooms were very poor. The furniture was in need of updating and the bathroom is in need of refurbishing. In addition it was close to the entertainment centre. Consequently we were subjected to loud music from 9 a. m. until 1 a. m. There was a telivision and air conditioning and a fridge. The linen and bedding service was excellent
