Great getaway at the charming hotel nefeli *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFor a 3 star hotel absolutely in order. It is clean, the staff is always helpful and courteous. The food is ok, of course should you don't expect 5 star menu, but there was always something which was tasty. Shopping, and small tavernas right outside the door, and the beach was just about five minutes, also a perfect starting point for excursions, what more could you ask for? Car rental also right across the street and cheap, an excursion to Rethymnon comfortable by bus. The beach is lovely long and broad with quaint tavernas where you as an original greek moussaka can get lunch. The hotel with it's nested halls and stairs really beautifully designed, however not suitable for people with mobility problems or wheelchairs. The rooms are totally fine, everything you could need, decent bed, TV, fridge, air conditioning, hair dryer and good-sized bathroom. Also: Who spends the room on holiday except the showers, changing and sleep???!!! Drinks at the bar are not so convenient to describe, but whoever watched on holiday to penny ... For me it was an all round great short break and will definitely book here again!
