Hotel Nefeli Beach

The holiday was very beautiful hotel nefeli.
The hotel is very centrally located in the ot platanias and is as a Greek village built with many little alleys and steps. For handicapped people is the hotel so suitable not. It is ramps at the stairs, but sometimes the are steep and not always something available.
We had the room 173 (family rooms, duplex), the us not so good. fallen has two beds in the lower (-) floor with large window, the but directly on the ground level. two beds on the upper floor, where also the bathroom and the entrance is. The balcony was only available for two people at the same time, so it was very small. It are two refrigerators available, of which none worked at the beginning, what but after a complaint was immediately taken care of. The closets are smelly something in the smell. An exchange of the room was unfortunately due to the full occupancy of the hotel not possible, so we arranged with us. In the north of the hotel is the main street of Rethymnon, in a kind of highway south, but both were from the road not to hear from the room. It was a air conditioning in the room, the but unfortunately directly on the bed blows. You can adjust itself though, but very pleasant at night is not. We had the balcony door open at night and the climate. The guests were made up mainly from Germany, a few guests came from the Eastern Bloc, a few British and french. Was very clean, the pool area and also not crowded. It were always beach chairs available. The staff is friendly and speaks partly also German very well. Breakfast and dinner were fine. Some brought their own nutella or sausage with the own. We had the not necessary. The children were inspired by the selection. It was for breakfast always salad, eggs and scrambled eggs or fried eggs, fresh bread (white bread and wholemeal bread), the same as also rolls. Jam (strawberry, cherry and apricot), muesli, cereal, milk, french toast, cakes, a sort of sausage and cheese. For drinks, there were coffee (instant coffee from the machine), two different juices (instant juice) and tea available. To evening gave it different warm dishes (Greek and international) in the form of a buffet, salads and desserts. The drinks were extra. Unfortunately also the water.
It is also a gym in the hotel, the free could be used. There is a PC in the foyer, the Internet connection or wireless/Smartphone for the own laptop cost three euros/hour.
Two bus stops are in the immediate vicinity (about 100m) available. The bus (1.20 eur/way and person) alternated themselves in Rethymnon. Last return trip is to 11:30 p.m. from Rethymnon. A taxi costs only eight to ten euro, if it is later.
Locally it a hotel beach, good five to seven minutes away. The beach chairs including an umbrella cost three euros/day.
However, it is a private beach, the hotel is used by several: Baja beach. This is about 1 kilometer away from the hotel. A bus drove twice in the morning for free (10:30 and 11:30 A.M.) and twice in the evening (17:30 and 6:30 P.M.). There it hospitality. The prices are very human. Consumption is no must, by Lidl supermarket/something it can also be brought. The couches are free and in sufficient number available. The beach is clean and was flat in the water.

Overall the hotel is worth of its three stars and can be recommended without hesitation. Price/performance ratio was very good.
