the new palm tree is still an inexpensive overnight stay possibility
in the overpriced mombasa. The traditional bar is closed, thus
the change to the 'no alcohol' hotel. The kitchen (halal) always tried to bring european service. The rooms furthermore, spartan but clean, there are ' new towels, some rooms have even a fridge or a tv. The highlight the unchanged sun terrace. The staff was friendly and tried hard to do everything to satisfaction.
