Hotel Old Dutch

The location of the hotel "Old Dutch" in Bergen op Zoom, is just perfect for people who love and short distances to somewhere central and comfortable. Just 2 minutes walking minutes to the city center, train station and the beautiful market square/Museum of Bergen op Zoom. Ideal for shopping. Nevertheless the hotel is Verkehrsruhig. Unfortunately the hotel has no own parking lot so quickly day parking fee of 5 euros. In the time until 12 noon and again from 5:00 pm, is the parking in the street but free.

The staff was friendly and spoke German and English. There were still in the folder records of the previous guests and the information was stained and gunky. The hotel offers a laundry service according to x information map, but we didn't use it. The room cleaning was is not varied, especially in the bathroom. Change of towels and making the beds every day. Cleaning the toilet and the sink never! The bathroom was even dirty from the previous guest. The toilet unacceptable.

The hotel itself has no sports possibilities. But the location offers ideal conditions for shopping. Internet access was available but we didn't make use of. For a pure beach holiday is just a bit too far from the beach.

The rooms are very spacious and the furniture was new. No balcony/safe or minibar. There are telephone, internet connection and televisions. The bathrooms are small, without windows, but adequate. The cleanliness wasn't especially in the sanitary area was to be desired! (which is klimpflich expressed)! We had the toothbrush holder used the previous guests, however, jewelry filled with fresh Waschtüchern in the bathroom. This continued throughout the entire stay. The towels and Waschtücher changed daily, but always put back in the dirty toothbrushes! The mirror was also dirty and within the 4 days as well cleaned as the sinks!. The toilet showed as showing clear signs of previous guests! And these were very clearly dark! There wasn't a toilet brush and toilet paper only on request! The toilets in the guest room looked as well! Showing clear signs of previous user! The toilet in the room, was in the entire 4 days stay, not cleaned a single time! We even with disinfectant and mitts plus!
