The hotel Old Town Maestro's is not modern, but basic, clean and very well located.

Very good location! About a 20 minutes' walk away from the bus station, about a 10 minute walk to ferry. Was only one night in this hotel, rooms very quiet.

Service

Personnel hard, spoke English, no German (also not expected), check-in and check-out were fast and without Kompliakationen, unfortunately it wasn't possible 1 -2h late check-out at noon was advised to leave the room):! Though is right, in their hotel brochure, this possibility will but it was advertised. So I in cold Schauerwetter 3h time of "todschlagen" until my bus drove to Riga. (In the town which is great but it was not a big problem, was completely exhausted from so many visit only)

Gastronomy

Breakfast was very good, and satisfying: eggs, cheese, meats, orange juice, cranberry juice, sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, fish (in Latvia common), weizenbrei, coffee, toast, Minihörnchen ...... breakfast 7-10.00 hours

Sport & Entertainment Unused

at first sight see old but are not only the color scheme, dark green, brown and gray, let it seem old. Rooms are very large with sofa, desk, double bed, bath, hairdryer, (facial tissues), minibar (was locked, key at the reception available), a carpeted floor, heated tile floor in the bathroom. Rooms are generally very clean.

Tips and recommendations

With the ferry Lindaline (15 euros), to Helsinki, the town is sadly wasn't anything special, the Duomo and the Russian Cathedral but worth seeing, and good shopping possibilities and friendly people. Visit observation decks in the upper town (partly winding streets in) comfortable shoes since cobbled streets otherwise very painful!
