Romance and style of the Belle Epoque *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe facade with the smart is situated in the lehel in a poor side street, 100m from Maximilianstraße no and about 700m from the Opera, the hofgarten park and the hofbräuhaus away. For guests is the no stopping area in front of the entrance to hop on and off repealed. If you take the trouble to look for, a place in the surrounding car parking spaces, can take the therefor Parklizenz hotels for the six euro per day. Garages are located at the next hofbräuhaus and Max-Joseph-capacity (residence, Opera).
The front desk was friendly and accommodating unaufgesetzt, the guest will lead to our room (luggage regardless). The standard rooms are like the whole house with style furniture equipped and decorated with antiques, without that, with the exception of an air conditioner-the usual modern comfort (including Wi-Fi Internet access and free safe) must be eliminated. Instead of a minibar 24-hour room service of an extensive selection of drinks ready. 4.00 euro for a small beer are in accordance with the price of dining in the area. Unfortunately, the price for the room quiet water supplied to be paid.
My single room to the yard side was with about 20 m2 including shower/toilet was large enough. (!) And solid doors walls ensure the sleep; from the outside there was no noise with the windows open.
The hotel reviewer Gandl with restaurant seating is a few blocks away. The breakfast is however in the house-if the weather allows it, in a romantic arcade, with a lot of silver and fine china-a feast for the senses!
Of carefully selected and the visible throughout the hospitality atmosphere generated I get the impression the outstanding feature of the hotel.
