Nice hotel with good snorkeling possibilities *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AMedium-sized Hotel, directly on the sea. Rooms are large and well equipped (balcony, air conditioning, safe, coffee/teepulver and machine, refrigerator, Internet access). Many parking spaces and relatively cheap (7 US/day). We had overnight stay with breakfast, not very varied, but adequate. Since the the construction is very open, unfortunately many birds in the restaurant on the way. So no food and drinks leave without supervision. Nearby is a supermarket, gas station and several places. In the area is a rather small pool (not used). Adjoining the hotel is a beach park with great snorkeling (a lot of fish, and turtles), therefor not a really nice beach. In the evening sunsets were wonderful, also at the hotel bar to admire. We were with a rented car booked in advance (as Oahu and Kauai) on the way. The big island is very large, but also varied. Lava is refilled almost everywhere on the island. The countryside was very different, for example, grass areas, forests, 4000 meters-mountain a, black and white beaches and active volcano kilauea, of course, in Vulcano-National park. Additionally Macadamia and coffee plantations. Many things were very attractive.
