Top hotel under the Greek sun *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A APredictable (177 rooms) but sections of very spread out hotel with modern amenities in a style typical for the country. Impressively nice indoor and outside arquitecture, nice designer furniture in the common areas, intensively landscaped gardens with flowering Flora. Impressive pool (approx. advertisements state long), in which you actually has a fantastic "swimming" which is rare. Extremely high cleanliness (also address sensitive glass and Stahlelemente in the common areas are meticulously cleaned). Guest structure is mixed; in the specific period mostly north and Europeans. Mixed age structure of the guests. Alternatively on half board, full board.
Location
Private beach directly from the access to the gardens. Nice pool chairs (free) and umbrellas, beach section but relatively narrow. Sandy beach, there were unfortunately with occasional tar leftovers (tanker accident? ). 1 km to Marmari village, a bland, the only from bars, taverns, hotels, locals and mini-markets. Kos town 15 km Public-transit bus directly from the hotel (journey time: 20 minutes one-way). Unfortunately already at 11:00 pm last bus back, so you should really rent a car, to be flexible! various excursion opportunities, bookable on site or at the hotel etc: boat trips Three Islands, boat trip to Bodrum (Turkey) or after Rodos etc. possible.
Welcoming and friendly, professional and redegewandtes service staff, that comes with many trainees from the CEE-room is supported. Good knowledge of foreign languages (German, English). Cleanliness was fine. Nice touches like several times a day at the pool or watermelon bedtime chocolate on the pillow before going to sleep. Front desk and reception staff very professional.
Gastronomy
Main restaurant extremely good selection of food at the buffet. Fresh and especially quality vegetables and fruit, delicious Greek appetizers and excellent dessert corner not! Stayed in the early daily freshly squeezed orange juice without extra cost. Kitchen style is international and typical for the country. Unique atmosphere at dinner around the pool in the open atrium (also counted for breakfast). Nice and the standard room with direct access to the part of or in 1. Floor. 1 . Split level room was still a good choice (view, self-contained terrace).
