Great location in down town *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWas in November for 3 days in the Palmer house Hilton, and was pleasantly surprised. to the Palmer house at the best from the Hoare airport with the blue line in about 40 minutes to monrö street then 1 x around the corner and you are at the hotel, and the concierge keeps the doors on and you are in the lobby, where I think we will try a few stairs ). With heavy suitcases this might have been an issue. Of course there were also lifts, but the are right at the back through and if you can get a freshly then that is not just to see the stairs. you shop, you arrived in the main lobby. This creates a sophisticated elegance that your but a bit by very, very many people. The house is about 1600 rooms and gives the impression that all guests keep in the lobby. There is coffee, tea, or a drink and drank geschnattert it is used accordingly. It is quite noisy. check in was speedy, the girls and boys spoke excellent English (ha, ha). German or none. the elevator always a lot of people, but it is quite progressing. The hotel corridors with thick carpets so the sounds good swallowed. Pictures on the walls of the time in the house stayed in. the room for one person was fine. Also enough for two people. Good and tastefully furnished. With TV, radio alarm clock, recliner, walk-in closet with safe, clean bathroom with all you need. To mention is the king-size bed. I slept there. The mattresses. My room was at the end of one of the wings on the 9th. Floor and was absolutely quiet. at night the rest only short disturbed by a drunk bride. You can hear the elevated and of course also once it is over thunders right. That's why you stop in Chicago. had booked with breakfast and had terrible fears because of the noisy, overcrowded lobby. But, I have rarely eaten so quiet and relaxed breakfast. Only a few people seem breakfast. With 25 dollars isn't very cheap. the food for a 4 star hotel in North America good to very good. Toast in light and dark croissants, rolls, bread, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausages, fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit. Really very good. Whoever wanted could also the waiter special order eggs or fresh pancakes or waffles. Really enjoyed eating breakfast there. the hotel is as a base to explore some of Chicago very well located. elevated as said before the door. The Millennium Park, shopping, Chicago river with its striking bridges and also the Willis tower, are all nearby the hotel. if I leave on the side, where the elevated thunders right and about a 10 minute walk over is on the right hand side a blues club. -BUDDY gay legend, starting from 10 p.m. live good music. Entrance 15 dollar. Just reinschaun, is an experience. to recommend a visit to the United Center for a game of Chicago bulls. Boggling. the Palmer house Hilton is highly recommended.
