Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe have just returned from one week and it was our 4th time in 12months.
It is not the "poshest" of the hotels on offer, but the service and options available are hard to beat. You can do what you want when you want, eat what you want. The rooms are clean and adequate (if you want crystal glasses then it is not for you)
Location
IEasy to access the beach, and there is a boat every hour to the beach at at Zeytuna. 10 minute walk into the old town, where you can eat and shop or a 15 minute walk into the fantastic harbour where there are also shops and bars.
Ther is Kit boarding, Go Karting, Paint Balling, Horse Riding all within easy reach.
The are Tuk Tuk availabe to transport you also at a cost of around £1.00 for two
The staff are amazing and cannot not do enough for you. They are a credit to the hotel,
Gastronomy
One main restaurant, hot food stations cold buffet and a selection of main hot dishes are available. Dining room is a little out dated and is a culture shock, but once you get in the swing of it...the food is very good and the service is good.
Sport & Entertainment
Jimmy the resident DJ is amazing, the shows in the evening are excellent.
The pool and surrounding area are very clean and there are towles daily.
Room
Beach Bugalow is a must, but make sure you get a refurbished one.
They are on the water and you can swim from the rear
Tips and recommendations
We went New YEar qand the weather has been like English spring,although there is a cold breeze in the evening. You can purchase anything you want in El Gouna, we travelled by local bus to Hurghada where there is plenty of shops.Remember that there is a visa to pay of £12.50p/@ when you arrive
