Great holiday in a typically greek *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Pantokrator is a basic ( if book a 3 star) but impeccable, clean hotel with very nice staff ( especially Dragoz at the front desk! ), Good food and wunschönen view over the bay of Barbati. The daily evening transformation over the bay, you can enjoy from sun-bathing area was simply amazing! Barbati is a small town with all possibilities (except for disco) and a excellent beach with great clear water. In July/August but you should at the three-star booking because the air conditioning (8/13€ per day for DR/FZ), unfortunately, given Tjaereborg the family room not available. The hotel has at least in july international guests (NL, B, SRB, ro, I, UK) with superfluity for German guests ( contrary to the info in guide, after this mostly Brits would book). Car/scooter/quads you can order at the reception (=vehicles of Greek distribution of the main road), car are far cheaper than the cars of the travel agents (70 euros more convenient for 3 days) but perfectly OK.
