Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAfter a stay in Hamburg in the eleven July Louis C in the hotel. Jacobs been warned, that this would be a sister hotel in Unterengadin has, my husband surprised me for my birthday with a three-day package in paradise. The hotel had a fantastic location on a sun plateau at 1600 meters and has the name with good reason. All rooms have a great view of the mountains and the castle tarasp. Because the Hotel only has about 40 rooms, everything was well arranged and family. You got there and you felt well. In a five-star hotel is a nice atmosphere relaxed and personally. In our package was a gourmet meal in the on-site restaurant meat costs. Chef Martin gram with 18 Gault Millau points and a Michelin star decorated. The food was a culinary journey through indigenous forests, meadows and rivers and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. But the food in the cozy farmhouse parlor of the hotel was excellent. Mr gram created a table d'hotel menu every day. A bit, you really should try, is the kaiserschmarren, but only if you had no large main course. The breakfast buffet is due to the size of the hotel compared to other five star hotels quite clearly, also, because you submit regional products. Therefor are juices and freshly prepared egg dishes and every day there is a special shake-creation. I personally was missing a variety of real wholemeal bread. My husband, however, missed the typical Swiss Summits and braid Sunday. There were croissants, the buttery/were a bit too greasy. The level of service for the drinks was very high, even for Swiss standards. Fantastic was the Spa area with the great sun terrace. We have often used the fitness room, in which there are only staying power-devices are, as well as a Power Plate (free of charge). Otherwise, the area is for hiking and jogging also a paradise, especially because of the proximity to the Swiss National park. Ftan is a wonderful village, at the time seems to have stood still. The paradise has its price. Nevertheless, it pleased us so well, our three days-just stay on a week extended-and really enjoyed it thoroughly.
