Fantastic location for nature lovers and hikers *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel (in 2200m height!) exists because of the unique location in Teide-National Park. The hotel looks from the outside is rather modest-well aware optically adapted to the landscape. We had a double room, due to the heavy furniture seemed a small, with a relatively small bath and with relatively small windows-but with a nice view on the Los Roques. Was it not to criticize about the cleanliness. The sauna was closed. The indoor pool was open unattractive in need of renovation (small pool and the black cover the peeling paint). In the same area were partly also not more dewy three equipment. Before, and the dining room was well visible, aufgereihte beach chairs. The breakfast buffet was rich and good (unfortunately only from 8:00 A.M.-for trekking already almost to late). In the restaurant it is from noon until late in the evening always hot food. The quality was good, but the dishes were partly to expensive. It lacked the drastic and quantitative the menus. The starters had the size of a main course and were much to expensive (cost about 10.00 mostly good). We also the rates are high. But it is just not an option. And you live in a beautiful landscape and if the also the day trippers are leaving in the evening or in the morning there is not. We spent four days/nights at the Parador and have it despite the criticisms very much.
Not to miss: directly from the hotel it is a nice mountain on the Guajara : the hotel exit out and to the left. There begins the foot path, directly on the Guajara nearer. On the spot, at the foot path a route crosses this, it is on the right of the hill. This is the nicer, in the early morning partly still in the shade lying climb. It requires occasional masseurs with the hands, freedom and mountain shoes. Decline on the simpler then away to the south east side of the mountain.
