Nice location, but not a brilliant Hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASecond warm-up station during our trip was the Parador De Carmona. The hotel housed in a former Moorish noble palace from the 14. Century. Is located on a hill above the city and is in good condition Carmona. Plain outwards-as all Muslim structures but inside typical Moorish elements, particularly a large inner courtyard. Lobby, bar and lounges were furnished nicely other, opportunities to sit too low for tall Northern but comfortable, the atmosphere was correct. In the restaurant there was a discreet atmosphere, the service staff tried, but for this hotel category a necessary and usual training miss. Steigenberger is much better. Wine-white or red from großvolumigen red wine glasses; the food was surprisingly good, the breakfast was quite uniform. Only on our second night we had the impression, the food came from the kitchen were dishes ready the rooms large, antique equipped, very warm, but clean. The two sheets and cotton cover between the hard mattresses were mandatory. The Paradores are all equipped. The tv apparatus had two German channels in the programme: satellite and per a seventh who likes it. The bathroom was very spacious, unfortunately here the ravages of time: the türzargen wood were down by water penetration something black, the color partly peeled off. Shower was only possible in the bathtub.
