A poorly managed public enterprise *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Parador de Ronda was our first warm-up station as part of a tour 'of Parador to Parador' of Andalusia. After we very much about the exclusivity of these houses had read on the Internet, we wanted to get to know the houses now. The Parador, a former town hall, palace similar, was 1994 (date on the portal) converted into a hotel. Unfortunately it would appear on the building since no more maintenance to be pushed. The outer impression was a bit shabby. The lobby was still in a very good, reasonable condition, the subsequent room, bar and lobby but very from: much too deep, durchg it uncomfortable chair and where some seams were bursted open, a broken outlet in the bar area, a very sluggish personnel and wheat from the wine. Even to the announced opening hours of the terrace cafes was no one to see and, in the evening, the waiters turned her back on us, free after the motto: if I guests see, I have to do work. We then walked out. Also in the restaurant not a friendly atmosphere, food served with stone face, the empty plates from the table formally torn. Wine-white or red from großvolumigen red wine glasses; the food was surprisingly good, the breakfast was a bit uniform. The rooms were large, antique equipped, very warm, but very clean. About Spanish culture sleep I will not dwell now, for us, the blanket is between two sheets always a bit of a nuisance. And the bed was hard, very hard, back pain programd; this has been confirmed also. The tv apparatus had two German channels in the programme: satellite and per a seventh who likes it. The bathroom was spacious, unfortunately not clean: dust on the heating and water marks on the walls around the toilet-pool. The door handle of the bathroom had lost his proud and hanging loose in its version. All in all: the expectations were very high, the experience was disappointing. One can stay overnight there, a longer vacation would be more of a nuisance. You will notice the public enterprise.
