Very nice renovated Pardor-Hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVillafranca del Bierzo the Parador was opened at the end of 2010 after a thorough renovation again. Our room was modern, clean, with two large beds and pillowtop mattresses. Wet cell, very well-kept and shampoo, body cream, etc. equipped, typical Parador evenly. The young gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, as well as the competent man at the pool. There is a Finnish sauna with a small indoor swimming pool and in the summer, an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers. After a hot day in the car a true delight. The breakfast buffet was varied and very tasty. The hotel is easy to find from highway A6. To foot one is in few minutes in the famous village centre with a beautiful park and a few bars/restaurants where dinner. One of the more often Santiago-pilgrims. Trip tip: about 25 kilometer South is 2000 years old the former Roman gold from ' las Médulas 'to visit.
