Only booked with breakfast, the breakfast room is rather poor too, but the buffet for French standards plentiful. Value for money we found really cheap, but it was low season. The rooms are really large, big window area, decent bathroom, separate WC, enough Schrankflächen (! ). Stayed in the 5. Floor and had a partial view of the ocean. The beach house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, little car traffic. The parking garage is on the casino around the corner. the entrance, but is large and clean. Direct lift to the hotel. The staff are English speaking. I have found this hotel for a short vacation as well as for annual holiday for really suitable. a number of restaurants on the beach promenade for all budgets. Arcachons city center is around the hotel, the old town approximately 300 meters away. Worth seeing the about 10 miles away and the dune/Dune de Pylat "Winterstadt" from arcachon, in the beautiful villas in Badestil the turn of the century. Bordeaux about 75 km away. The hotel is located close to the "Binnenstrandes" on the Bassin, the open Atlantic Ocean beach with qualifying waves is about three miles south.
