We considered the official hotel description to be correct. With a bit more than 80 rooms something like a sense of family was created despite the suddenly changed guest structure. A lot of regular guests from Germany stayed away this time. Why? We don't know exactly but it certainly didn´t have to do with a possible diminished attractiveness of a holiday in Turkey.
Newly guests from Britain were in the majority. We hold on though that like in the last years the holiday guests were considerate of each other.
Russian guests still avoided the path to the Pasha's.
This also meant that someone who was looking for noise, alcohol in the morning and similar things could meet his concerning expecatations with an advantage in one of the many neighbouring hotels.

The bus transfer from the airport took a good 90 minutes - a small drawback. Once you were in the hotel there weren't any problems concerning mobility; the Dolmus (local connection) stopped every 20 minutes directly in front of the hotel and allowed the ride to Antalya for a ridiculous price.
The distance to the beach was about 3 to 4 walking minutes as long as you didn´t do any shopping on the way. Speaking of shopping: for that there were attractive possibilities around the hotel. In no case the bargaining should be forgotten because depending on the seasonal density the off of the salesmen could always be bargained down by 25 to 40 percent.
Excursion possibilities we didn't use. From a few hotel guests we got feedback though which wasn't exactly exuberant.

Service

The service deserved the description of top class. This counted for the waiter in the restaurant and at the bar, the room service and for the serivces at the beach.
Significant in this respect was that the biggest part of the staff had already been employed in this hotel for years. Staff members like the continous motors Kadir and Metin or the good natured Sultan and Sevil should be mentioned representatively for all.

The catering last year had a small low because of staff and organisational changes. This time concerning the food variety and quality we could give out a very good report - with the small cutback that they took more notice of the British taste and that you, as is well-known shouldn´t fight about tastes :))

Sport & Entertainment

Sport:
Who came to the Pasha's in view of physical strengthening definitely made a wrong calculation. This didn't just have to do with the sumptuous kitchen but also with a limited sport programme. Especially the so called fitness room didn't deserve that name as the installement available there came from a time before the First World War.
High praise in comparison to that the massage departement deserved with showpiece Halil. The offer compared to last year was extended once again which amongst other things had to do with Halil using the winter months for challenging further training.

Entertainment.
The entertainment got our highest credit. Chief Eniz understood how to offer a lot of variation with comparably few ressources. From Eniz we knew that he was constantly working on improving his programmes also compared to last year changed a whole row of points in the programme - for the good.

Room

The room size was ok, the furnishing tasteful. The air conditioning worked and could be operated at different levels. Small tip: Turn off the air conditioning during the night and instead open the balcony door.
The TV offered multiple programmes, also German ones. Who knows the quality of the private TV will spend his "free time" in a different way.

The room service deserved a high praise including various additional services. During our 2 week stay we got a fruit basket 4 times next to a bottle of wine.

Tips and recommendations

Telephone costs
Better not phone with your mobile phone. The roaming charged were considerate. If you got a telephone card at reception could speak with a landline at home for 52 minutes for 7 Euros.

Internet
The wirless network worked well and was even rechable by the pool. If you had a notebook or iPhone you could therefore communicate with the whole world for free, listen to webradio, etc.
Doing that also remember though that the holiday time isn't meant for completing business correspondences.

Careful
If it was damp around the pool it got slippery and dangerous - especially for bare feet walkers.
