Hotel Pegasus

Hotel down the road Roda - Acharavi, archtiecture T-shaped, some rooms to T-front (= the street), there were mainly room was on the side of the Längstbaus (East/West). Traffic noise not being carried out very unobtrusively (low season). Close to the hotel block to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The beach is about a 10 minute drive. Good bus service to Corfu town (3.30 euros, ) also to sidari and Kassiopi (1.60 €).

All very nice! Rooms (Monday to Saturday) cleaned well, new towels on request. very good English knowledge, good German skills. Snack and Pool bar, children's playground.

Is offered with breakfast: Greek simple, but good! Bread, butter, jam, honey, per 1 sort of cheese/ cold cuts, cereals, quark, cakes. device, eggs with depart" adjustable cooking facilities. Coffee, tea, milk hot/cold. fruit juice drinks. I liked it, and I found it adequate. Was set in the breakfast room, but we could also on the patio, pleasant. Everything neat and clean! Snack bar until 18 hours, salad, sandwiches not used). Bar prices ok.

Swimming pool amazing!!! Large, nicely arranged (curved giving it, with pool bar), from 0 . 9 to 3.00 meters deep (so it's not a place for the very little ones!). And in the lush garden area!!! (In the north many hotel pools right on the road!). Enough beach chairs, mats, umbrellas (Including). airbeds and pool toys available for free. Children's playground and WiFi internet access, otherwise I think people with Notebook (often in the bar).

Large room, single room = double, tiled floors, nice bathroom (with shower curtain! , But no hair dryer), modern furnishings. TV, no German channels. Large balcony with table and 2 chairs. No clothes line/Drying system available! In-room safe, air conditioning, fridge hinzubuchbar, I was fridge with 30€/week too expensive. Rooms are very clairaudient, because of the Fliesenbodens, and because doors rather only privacy ... Everything was very clean, the towels were changed on request.

1 Week Corfu, 1 time, last minute. Good value, clearly under 250 €. Roda isn't to my place. In the hotel but this facinating-season, it was really nice. Good bus connection to Korfu city (5 to 6 times a day to get from at least 7 hours, last bus back 20 hours). From there was also, for example in the Achillion (Sissi). To the next town Acharavi about 30 minutes on foot along the sea long (nicer beach), nice. Very nice tavernas (and the sea long) and shops / supermarkets. Guide from Dumont (2009 ) highly recommended!!!
