Ideal starting point for the serenissima *

The 'la Calcina ' is the ideal hotel, get to venice. It was very conveniently located (vaporetto, ferry to fusina to the parking lot), has a great location on the Guidecca -channel and is an integral part of the liveliest dorsoduro district. Our room had a view and balcony to the canal-sensational. A terrace on the roof can be used free of charge.
The restaurant offers a good selection of food and reduced Menus for hotel guests. Complimentary bottled water is available every day in the room. The breakfast buffet was for Italian conditions very plentiful, several egg dishes made to order. Small drawback (not for every important): no German channels in the tv. We have rarely seen such felt comfortable like this holiday in a great city!
