Customer is king, but not here *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe booked this hotel during a business trip for a night. Unfortunately, you could not the usual hotel, the Deutsche Bahn preferred, as a university in Leipzig kress and everything was hopelessly Kon was fully booked. So you landed at Plagwitzer Hof.
A taxi from the train station to the hotel cost 10.60 €and was quite pleasant, the hotel looked we celebrate the first time already. Is accessed by a backyard of the hotel.
When we arrived to the reception desk, we wanted a payment from the employer before, that is to say, it shall be certified by a representative of the management, that the hotel expenses shall be borne by the employer. The 'nice' Mr could therefore have the bill on business and everything would have been done. We got the message, this would not happen, since we would be 'new' name and without payment of a room. So either in cash or by credit card. We were allowed to venture out one more time and money. We had about 15 minutes to walk also supplied.
So a bit unprofessional we have never experienced, even in South America. Finally, we say 'no' Max Mueller, but Deutsche Bahn.
Well: we got the room key for nine in the first floor. We went into our room, view views. We detected hairs on the bed sheets, undefinable spots on the bed sheets. Having reviewed the toilet we found, that was contaminated with feces. You probably have someone forgot, to clean. So, back to the front desk, ask, whether the cleaning staff someone still there. This was bringing, but then we got another room key right away. It was at least the toilet in order.
The size of the room was adequate. Tv reception was with some snow flurries something to watch.
The price of the double room was 61, -EURO including breakfast, single room was 39, -EURO including breakfast. Breakfast can't comment unfortunately, as we had an early start and just wanted to work out there. Taxiruf worked perfect, the bus picks up right in front of the hotel (line 60).
All in all a possibility, inexpensive to stay in Leipzig. But I think, there really is other hotels or pensions, which one should use, in order to have to fret not subsequently.
