Stay at the Platzl hotel if you visit Munich!
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AMy daughter and I went to Munich to see the Chritsmas markets, we decided on the Platzl hotel for 3 nights after reading lots of good reviews. We were not let down, check in was easy and we were given a lovely warm welcome. I had booked a quite room overlooking the courtyard. The room was clean and bathroom was plenty big enough for two people. The bed was very comfortable, I didn't like the pillows but my daughter did! The safe was in good working order as was every thing else.
The Staff were very polite and helpful on reception, every time we walked by they gave us a smile and said good morning/afternoon. They answered any questions we had and they gave us maps. The breakfast was really lovely anything you could want even fizzy wine!! I definitely recommend you stay here.
