Mountain biking in Tuscany *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt is a newly renovated, relatively large and impersonal resort. We enjoyed our vacation so far in small family-run hotel or apartments and have therefore not immediately felt at home. The complex is very well maintained and the apartment was well equipped, and beautifully. What we didn't like was, that the US only a vague to our apartment has shown, which after 15 minutes we had found. This was stuffy (you would have in expectation of guests before airing can) and gave the impression, as if the construction in front of five minutes and stopped there is no time to remove the dust was. Try long could we also launched the air conditioning (in the English description was not, that the heating element in the cold air and that they need to be switched on). For the price we would have expected, that these things were declared or prepared for us. We were also assured earlier, that there is a lockable storage space for our mountain bikes are. When we arrived, we should take this then suddenly park in the grass. Finally, we were allowed, the bicycles with the apartment to take. Otherwise the unit was very nice and comfortable, but very noisy (loud Russian neighbours). The pool area was very nice and clean, especially not crowded. If you wanted to go swimming but I had to buy a swimming cap. The restaurant in the area we didn't used, since it was too expensive us. In the evening was a beach bar, so that one could order pizza in the apartment, the excellent tasty. There were shopping possibilities in the area (very expensive), in about three minutes away (small shop), a penny and euro pin in Piombino (about eight kilometer). For dinner you can San Vincenzo (about eight kilometer) recommended, small beach with its pedestrian zone. The beach was only two kilometer away and very nice. free beaches a bit outside of the Barattibucht were not so crowded. As a starting point for excursions into the Tuscan is suitable the complex, we were there from Piombino with the ferry to Elba Island, as well as in Siena. A great holiday, although the Tuscany in the area around the resort is not as fabulous as one would imagine it to be. Better would be the area around Cecina.
