A real gem for a Dresden-visit! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located in Alexander, a suburb of Dresden. Although all guests arriving by car, the other guests also helped, as 50 meters away in the main street a tram and a bus runs into the centre of Dresden. As the hotel is located in a side street, you can hear nothing from the road traffic, especially after 8:00 P. M. there already 'dead' is. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, so no industrial area, shopping center or gas stations. The hotel, with about 30 rooms is immaculately maintained, whether room, breakfast room and hallways. It is in this hotel only a single room and a room with a balcony (point 26). So if you get two single room with high probability two double room for single use. The rooms are brightly and friendly furnished and absolutely newly. A hair dryer or iron you can borrow from the reception (free of charge).
It has been criticised, that the tables in the breakfast room too small! Well, there are now small round coffee tables and No, but is still not down a cup. The breakfast 7:00 to 10:00 A. M. from. I have already looked at 8:00 A. M. (Sunday), where the breakfast room was completely empty, so I do not believe that anyone in the hall for a free table. The breakfast is excellent and of very good quality. In which hotel do you get fresh smoked salmon, several juices (not the fresh water from the unspeakable machines), scrambled eggs, fruit, cheese, tons of tea and so on should not forget you, I only 39.00 per night including breakfast I paid (April 2010). Otherwise, there is an underground car park, per day: 6.00 euro. In five days, the fifth day is free of charge. However, it is on the roads in the immediate vicinity a parking lot. In Summary. A first-class price/performance ratio, super well-kept Hotel, nice staff, unfortunately not in the view of the frauenkirche church. Nearly forgotten, since it only in another review stated: you can actually see the daily a free bottle of mineral waters, although there is no indication from the hotel. For suspicion: before you ask the staff.
