Oh well - or two reasons for a great holiday *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAccording to the impression the first two days we could almost first holiday broken. We were given a "room" on the ground floor, which very dark, worn, grim and cramped. No window in the bathroom. - But they did we had no problems on the third day a new room after another of became available. This room was exactly the opposite and lived up to our expectations of a 4 star hotel - number one problem to solve. Until the end of July in the facility was very "unfriendly" atmosphere. The mostly guests from Eastern Europe (90 %) made. You would think, from the next day there was nothing else to eat. There was no dress code. So you could "Fressmaschinen" in singlets admire at dinner. - End of July, the picture transformed the structure of the guests was mixed (50 % German, 30 % Greeks). Was ok. The hotel is located on a VERY busy main road. The Cross or cutting down on the street is extremely dangerous. However, there were also not a goal to again, since the next town Nea Potidea more than in the reports mentioned 2 km away ( and not worth seeing). So, enough visted. - We still and had a very nice time experienced: The hotel is nicely situated on a decent beach. There were always enough pool chairs. The grounds are spacious and well kept. The absolute highlight was the excellent kitchen ( the chef) of the house: You masters all preparation, offers fresh and very high quality and a varied and rotating selection. As the amateur we made to have healthy food and someone is important, for me it was a paradise. In summary, for a great beach holiday, with rental car (highly recommended) is the Kassandra and explore Sithonia from its most beautiful sides, otherwise "lack around a bit the Zerstreuungsmöglichkeiten" around the hotel. We arrived very relaxed - and international cultural Bereicherter - to come home.
