Great bath & sight-seeing vacation in Nea Potidea *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is about 30 meters away from the beach, is by a steep sloping stepping stone path to reach, but is very good passable due. The beach itself is clean, but partly pebbly ( without shoes doable). There were enough available, are in good condition (towels there's a 5€ deposit at the reception), also the umbrellas. The access to the sea is not so schwiereig than it looks but in some places are no paving stones, also at the neighboring hotel-beach ( free access) you could well without beach shoes to the very clear and clean sea swim. However, there's on the stone slabs small sea urchins, be careful with but well manageable. The Geelände is nice spacious, but not too spread out, everything could easily be reached. Leisure facilities are available, but not in a very nice location ( pool table in the basement, as well as the fitness room and sauna, the not very well-kept and the ambience was not appealing). Table tennis, beach volleyball court also ok ok ( here though only entertainment from the neighboring hotel, but you can always participate in). Speaking of food, enough, many choices and even though a bit oily everything but tasted attractive, something for everyone. The food but with so much choice, this wasn't a problem. Theme nights there is also from and to ( Chinese, fish and seafood) The staff was absolutely friendly, but not intrusive and helpful. Rooms: Here I can see that it is so different reviews. At first we had a dark, not nice room with no view. Another may require at the front desk, the next day we were checked in at a bright room to move tolem with sea view. Climate worked in specific dates not, but it is quite bearable. screens available ( no need for it, many mosquitoes in the evening). That said, the rooms were clean, service was good! Structurally was's a bit getting used to ( tap at the stop from the edge of the pool, toilet flush takes forever, beds very hard). Except in the room shall be no Toilettepapier throw in's toilet but in the amounts bucket. Excursions: It is recommended to take a rental car!!! ( Is totally uncomplicated, fully comprehensive insurance, without excess). Nea Potidea and Nea Moudania are also easily reachable by bus, there's but not much to see! Evenings at our time wasn't a lot going on, there is a small entertainment program in the hotel, apart from that outside. There is no piped music, a busy road that can hear very good. Overall a good holiday, I would recommend the hotel for very demanding but not.
