World heritage in danger *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Athe hotel lies a corner from the Zocalo in the world heritage site by the UNESCO-Centro historico-appointed away. The hotel itself is a histor. Building and wonderful look, if it weren't for the decline endangered rooms. Nice inner courtyard swimming pool and restaurant, once again a small busy elevator, nice restaurants. Our room at the disastrous condition: window curtain broken, the window could not be locked, only ajar, since no key available. The worst of the decline was the bathroom: (pool) washing bowl run down, holes in the wall tiles, grey, dirty grumpy towels and a loose, off its hinges ripped the next frame should not survive the earthquake. In-room safe? Non-Existent. The breakfast and dinner of moderate quality and quantity of our group was in record time and unwound. If you wanted to eat eat supper was always a walkway behind the fast transportation situation to and from the hotel and had to watch his plate, otherwise it was gone and the next course was due. As to work at the cantina: fast, fast, the staff wanted to go home! As also the mariachi-singer with the meal plus for this dump out. A shame about this nice hotel! A tip: in Puebla in terms of money exchange was much worse than in the Zocalo Mexican city. On the side of the Regierunspalastes is located behind a small supermarket, a currency exchange.
