Hotel (really: Powell River Town Center hotel) is in the middle of a (for Can) large shopping area (Walmart, Safeway, kl. Mall). The location is drab, around streets, the beauty of the SunshineCoast missing completely. Room was simple, worn, carpet stains, otherwise relatively clean. When they wanted, rooms to the courtyard, street side take very noisy. Very poor service. We were traveling by the hotel-voucher, had to pay for the room so nothing. Afterwards, our credit card 3,700 CAD, about 3,000 EUR of one nights stay will be charged at the moment, non refundable open, hotel does not respond. We strongly advise against from the hotel.
