Perfect for a london trip *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIn striking distance to the tower and subway station, yet it is very quiet in the hotel and the trains could hardly be heard. Breakfast buffet for England standards was very good. Hotel is new and there is nothing to complain about. Check-in took a long while, but therefor everything was done right. Tower bridge is just around the corner, worth to take a look at in the evening. To the left of the Bridge (on the right is the Tower) is a nice little harbor with more exclusive, but highly recommendable restaurants to put an end to the evening. And not too expensive. You can sit directly at the harbor or in 2-3 restaurants even on the terrace. Walking around there is very nice. You can't see the harbor from the bridge, there is a huge international house in front. If you walk over the bridge, on the right hand side, you are directly at the London Dungeon. Make sure to go at the beginning of the opening hours. If you arrive with the train from the airport to London you get a 2 for 1 information brochure/entrance coupon. It pays off to use them.
