Very good hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery good hotel nearby the towers with good transport links. If you fly into Heathrow, the location is a bit inconvenient, because you have to go through the city - for city airport it's better. Tip for Heathrow-passengers: during rush hour take either via the heathrow-express (expensive) or by metro a small detour over Kings Cross and there get on the Piccadily-Line, which increases the chance to have a seat.
Rooms huge for London standards and nicely furnished. The only drawback: the windows couldn't be opened.
The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, but typically English (no bread rolls, no bread, only toast). The hotel's restaurant is highly recommendable. I have rarely eaten so well in London.
