Good Hotel/Great Beach *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe first two October weeks in Alba-Hotel. Good hotel with very few weaknesses (such as the mineral water tasted not good, tv quite small). Nice quiet two-bedroom apartment (approximately 50 square-meters) with air-conditioning and balcony. Bathroom without a hair dryer. The hotel consists of several buildings. The way to the beach was very short (just across the street to the Cala Gran). The Cala Gran was super nice, but even in October many tourists there. The beach is flat into the water. The bay is surrounded by pine trees and rocks. We had luck that we had not a single day of rain and some days we had 30 °C up to. Cala d'or was a very nice clean place with lots of restaurants and shops. The Marina is one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean at all (I have seen many). If you want to party, this place is wrong. Majority of the guests were German. The place to share to a large extent Englishmen and German. Whereas the English in Cala d'or, if more than, for example, the British in certain other places (for example, Ibiza). Shuttle almost one and a half hours, because so many others have been collected. We had all inclusive, food and drinks were good, the diversity. Staff did not seem bothered, but always friendly. Especially friendly was always Claudia, in which we always ordered coffee. There were very nice two weeks.
