A nice, quiet vacation in Rubimar! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stayed a week with our grandson (4 years) in Rubimar, were on the whole very pleased. Beautiful large apartmentHCLFHLwith separate bedroom with additional sleeping bed, as have two children to sleep. Only two floors with a balcony, good facilities, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, two burner ceramic-hob, small LCD tv (a little high), and pool of broadcasting corporations and second channel, as well as safe. We had half board to recommend, but also for self-catering, shopping and restaurants nearby. Beautiful large pool area with indoor pool, fitness studio and a small playground with slide. Location on the waterfront, directly at the marina, about ten to the bay Playa dorada minute walk, shopping center right next door. To papagayo beaches and the center of Playa Blanka, as well as about 2.5 to three kilometer ferry, to the bus station about .400 meters.HCLFHLBreakfast and evening buffet selection was adequate, every morning we got freshly roasted fried eggs and scrambled eggs, different kinds of sausages and cheese the usual range, only some vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers, I missed breakfast.HCLFHLIn the evening always freshly grilled fish and meat, we thought it was tasty and sufficient. Ice cream for dessert, there was only from time to time sporadic, our grandchild ate ice cream every evening. Fruit was always available.HCLFHLIt was quickly served, as well as also cleared. Prices were average (1 bottle of water 0.5 liter 1.80 euro). Special children's offer did not give it, only fries or pasta there remained, we found that not so good.HCLFHLThe hotel has about 100 apartments in the surrounding area just, it is relatively quiet, only the walls are a bit thin. vermutl, thus very badly soundproofed.HCLFHLThe hotel has four stars would classify it as normal three star hotel.HCLFHLNice for the modest buffets. As I said it was good enough, but for a four stars hotel some people expected a little more variety.HCLFHLWe recovered good and would recommend this hotel.
