Perfect place for relaxing
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is quite small, approx. 270 rooms and no matter where your room is located, you will be close to all services i.e. restaurants, beach, pool, bars, etc. The rooms are clean and comfy, especially on the third level - book a room in block 5 if you want an oceanview - we had room 5207 which was perfect. Both the restaurants a la carte and buffet are great, the buffet provides a different theme everyday.
Location
Nice location, the beach was always clean and well maintained. You can shop on the beach, however, lots of pressure from the vendors who are kind of aggresive. Lots of type of exercursions - we had the safari which was very interesting however, the driver was driving very fast and even had a race with another truck which scared the heck out of me and my olderly mom.
Service at the hotel was exceptionnal. One night, at the Tex Mex restaurant, without noticing, my expensive sunglasses felt out of my purse and when I got to my room, one of the waitresses had left me a phone message explaining she had found my glasses - wow, incredible these days! A great thank you for Luis who took care of me and my mom XX.
Gastronomy
Tex Mex, Italian, Fondue, Sea Food restaurants were all good and clean, but we preferred the buffet as there was a different theme everynight and had lots of choices. The food was always fresh and colourful. The wine isn't that good but you can buy good wine at the a la carte restaurants and if you don't drink it all, you can bring the rest of bottle in the room.
Sport & Entertainment
The pool looked nice and was clean, a bit of entertainment both in daytime and nighttime.
Room
The rooms are large and provides coffee machine, nice flat TV, bathrobes, nice balcony, safe, telephone, iron, haidryer and fridge with cola, water and fresh beer everyday.
