This is the Bali I'd heard so much about!

There are 18 suites; ours looked out on the beach, across the beautiful gardens.
The bedroom was spacious, with a 4 poster canopied bed - very romantic.
There was an outdoor shower attached to the quaint bathroom. Room service was available, but we chose to eat in the restaurant with sides open to the sea: great views and cool breezes.
Location
Great pool in garden setting with ocean view.
Lay out of resort provided privacy and botanical delights.
A strong traditional look/theme is evident in the buildings, grounds, and in the dress and service of the wonderful staff - probably the best asset of this resort.
There was plenty of things to do ranging from special, exclusive Dajuma day tours, to massages and lessons, e.g. how to surf, Indonesian language classes, cooking classes.
Dajuma Cottages are a long way (3 hr drive) from Denpasar. We would recommend staying overnight somewhere close to the airpport if you have a long flight to Bali.
The staff were exceptional in the level of service and their courteous interactions.
Friendly and cooperative, nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful wonderful people; they really "made" the holiday for us.
Gastronomy
There is one main restaurant - good variety of dishes, both Balinese and western. A recently built addition to the resort offers a teriyaki restaurant/dining experience. The resort is an eco initiative and uses local produce wherever possible.
Sport & Entertainment
Beautiful pool.
Resort has its own well, so it is safe to drink the water which is tested to international standards. You can swim/surf/fish at the beach too.
Room
Spacious, clean, beautiful views, charming, tastefully decorated, with large comfortable canopy bed.
