Hotel Pyramisa Blue Lagoon

We were mainly relaxing in the hotel - but there are some shops just next to the hotel and more shops about 10 mins drive away.

Otherwise service was good but in the main restaurant the waiters only served you well if you gave them a tip. A good advice to people staying in this hotel - tip one waiter the first day and make a table your standard one. Our drinks were waiting for us in the table when we realized how to do this. :)

Food was variable and good. The only negative thing was that sometimes the food was cold.

The pool area is good and is taken care of. The men who give the towels were quite rude a couple of times but this could also be due to language barriers. There is a small beauty center + health club in the garden. We tried everything from hairdresser to manicure/ pedicure and massage. I warmly recommend everything. And the price was good - value for the money. They come to the pool area on daily basis to sell the treatments - try them! You will not be dissapointed!! Also for girls they make french "rastas" that are very nice. Another tip is to go to the safari to the desert. That was the best part of our vacation - driving a wheel buggy and a moon car, and riding a camel in the desert! Best thing ever for the a bit bigger kids (and men). ;)

We were mainly enjoying the sun so the rooms and entertainment in rooms was adequate for us.

It was quite windy so not too hot - but not cold either. Never rains in Hurghada!! Sun guaranteed.
