Excellent
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe visited this hotel for 2 weeks in August '09 and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The staff were so friendly and helpful that when we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to family! . We never had any problems with the bars and again made friends with Adam, Feret and Zaen who between them made sure we were well watered every day!!!! We ate out twice at the Triple X bar just down the road and had lovely service in there too. We also visited 'Manuel' in his bar/cafe just out the back door and to your right - this man is hilarious without knowing it and unfortunately didn't have a clue why we named him 'Manuel'! There is so much to say about this hotel but really only one is needed - Excellent! Thankyou for a wonderful holiday. Regards to Mr Mohamed and to Sherif.
Location
The location of this hotel was really quite good. Not too close to the main street but near enough to the bars and restaurants. Shops were close by too.
The hotel manager 'Mr Mohamed' was always on hand should you need him and to his credit made sure we enjoyed our stay from the first day to the last. We had no problems at all when changing our currency with the reception.
Gastronomy
The restaurant was clean and air conditioned ( a bonus when you're experiencing 50 degrees of heat ) and there was always a variety of food on offer - none of our party of 9 went hungry! The staff in the restaurant were again very friendly and efficient.
Sport & Entertainment
The pools were fantastic - 3 enormous ones that meant that you were able to get sunbeds at anytime of the day. The pool men were very helpful and friendly - hello to Essam and Ahmed. The animation team were very entertaining during the day and evening. Jerry was brill - A Russian lad who spoke very little English but always managed to have a conversation with us! Just don't ask him the score when playing water volleyball cos he aint got a clue!!!
Room
The cleaner came in the rooms every morning and changed the bed linen and the towels - a very nice man who always had a smile for you. The rooms we had were quite large with a more than adequate bathroom and a balcony overlooking just one of the 3 pools.
