Nice holidays
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA good and nice hotel! we are coming every year in this Pyramisa Isis Luxor since 2003 ! we are going back in 2011 !! Because : a good, comfortable and very clean hotel. Excellent people : in the restaurant, at the terrace and swimming pool, for the rooms. The hotel is clean, the rooms comfortable, there are several restaurants, and if you want you can go free for a holiday at the Pyramisa Isis on an Island at Aswan! At Luxor the breakfast is MARVELOUS, the meals are good ! The hotel is really at the borders of the Nile ! For us that's the real holiday, and most important : the nice friendly people.
Location
a 10 minutes walk bring us to the center of Luxor, if you want you can have a taxi at the hotel.
In Luxor you can walk trough the soeks, the temples, the ferry to the valleys at the West side, with the famous tombs. But very famous is also the Museumof Luxor (really top !) and the excellent museum "of mummification" !!!!
All the facilities for excursions !
The temples of Luxor ... one visit is not enough, they are between the higlights of our civilization.
And pretty as well :a visit to the soeks..
The staff is realy very good,
The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is very helpfull, and very friendly
The same for the rooms, al the 8 years we were there we've had a good room cleaning, and as usual always with a smile !
The staff at the terrace and at the swimming pool is also very helpfull ! And their smile is as daily as the sun !!!
Gastronomy
There are several restaurants, the food is very good.
The breakfast(a buffet) is SUPER, and the meals (also buffet) give enough choice : fish, vegetables, meat, fruit, and the marvelous desserts !
Sport & Entertainment
There are two pools, one heated, one not. The pools are very clean
very clean, with enough sunbeds, and here also the staff is very helpfull.
Room
The rooms have several sizes. Our room is very good. There is not a great luxus, but we have the view on the Nile and the WestBank, we have good and clean furniture, there is a safe in the room, a nice and comfortable bathroom, TV, and a refrigerator. There is also airco. The mostof the rooms have a terrace.
Tips and recommendations
Al those 8 holidaus we've spent at Luxor, we had no complains!
We always go in January, (for us) the best period with nice sunshine and not too hot! The bill at the end of our journey is always correct !!!!
And if we are going back now for the 9-th time... this is the best way of saying : this is a good hotel, that makes our holiday to a really good and nice time.
