Nice hotel with Nile view and big swimming pool
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis hotel is large but you'll find a quiet place if needed. It is in a good to very good condition and very clean. We must have taken half-board. In five minutes you can reach the city center and the Luxor Temple. The type of guest varies from businessmen to big russian groups. You can also find families.
Location
Shopping facilities can be found in all Luxor. Excursions can be booked in the hotel. You'll also find many local travel-agencies arround the hotel, some of them are cheaper. Don't use the internet in the hotel if not urgently needed. The connection is poor and the rate is too expensive! (11 Euros/hour)! You'll find many shops outside for 11 cent/hour. Also the drinks are really expensive there.
The staff is very friendly. If you need anything they try to help you. The housekeeping-staff doesn't speak any foreign language but at the reception they speak english. The hotel offers a laundry service but no child care.
Gastronomy
Since many jears I visit this place the hotel offers local and italian cuisine that not really tastes italian or local. All the food tastes same, same spices, same way of cooking, really loveless, and this every day. But the sweets are exellent. The dining areas are clean.
Sport & Entertainment
No kids club, bad internet access, poor entertainment, no disco, no sport. Some live-singers try to entertain the guests in the evening but as loud as an starting aeroplane. But the pool is exellent and clean and the biggest in Luxor! Don't let your children make noise, it's not allowed!!
Room
The rooms are small but clean. Good furnitures, balcony, air-condition, TV, minibar, telephone and safe. The building is not new but they keep it in a good condition.
