Hotel Pyramisa Isis Luxor

A Very good basis for all the excursions you want to make.Also possible to book in the hotel.There are little shops nearby, but also visit the Souk,very cosy and order a mango or strawberry juice on the terrace.You will feel yourself in a Fata Morgana.

They are all very friendly, from the staff to the housekeeping, bellboys,the guards and the boys on the swimmingpool.Most of them speak english.If you have a complain,they will solve it,give them a small tip (baksjies)and they make your holiday as pleasant as they can.

The food is very good and it's a myth to get ill from that!It never happens to us in all those years!

You can buy a card for the internet,it is between the Italian and Chinese restaurant.The hotel has 2 swimmingpools,1 big one, recently renovated and very beautiful and 1 heated pool, so you always can swim! Free towels and sunbeds.

Most of the rooms are recently renovated, others will follow...but I don't care as long as it's clean. They have a little fridge to cool your drinks,a hair drier, telephone and TV, balcony and airco and every day clean towels. Nile-side is quiet, I prefer the noise and yellings on the street-side.Reminds me I'm on holiday and I like other cultures.And sitting on your balcony, there's a lot to see, you will never be bored.

I forgot to tell you about the beautiful garden and the breathtaking view from the terrace over the Nile.
Change your money by the little bank on the left of the hotel...you get a good rate.You can visit Luxor all over the year, although in august it can be very hot,but we were there from 12 until 26 februari and it was 34 degrees.. great!
