Excellent hotel with great service *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were now for the eighth time in this excellent Hotel. The hotel is, I must agree with some Mitschreibern, from the outside (from the pool side view) no modern building. But on the inside it is very appealing to more sophisticated way-not for travellers, the emphasis on modern design chairs. It surprises me again and again, that in the reviews that criticized, but you inform yourself prior to the trip over and facilities. Overall the hotel is in a very good condition. Many public areas and rooms were renovated over the past ten years. The service in the hotel is of outstanding quality. From the reception, the waiters up to the new directors are all extremely friendly and tried hard, to fulfill all wishes. If there was a problem (and to be honest, there are also here as everywhere else), they were removed as soon as possible. Breakfast includes everything, you could wish for and is served with a magnificent view of the sea. Half board you could enjoy in the beautiful dining room also. The dishes were quite varied and now of much better quality. The service here (our waiter was Pablo) was outstanding and very personal. The rooms are equipped with all necessary and have all a balcony with a direct view of the Bay of Palma, during the day and in the evening or lovely at night with the lighting is fantastic. Problems we had this time (the first time) with the cleanliness of the room. To report to the front desk this lack was repaired. Illetas is a quiet town west of Palma, certainly nothing for partygoer, but perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet and ideal base for hikes or excursions on the island is. You want to go to the island's capital Palma, one does so in a meaningful way by bus, the right in front of the hotel and one in 20 minutes directly into the centre. Furthermore, you could enjoy such a small city tour. A rental car is recommended for excursions, the you book the cheapest from at home over the Internet. Carports for seven Euro per day at the hotel.
