Modern, cheap and worth a try! ☺ *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe used the RAMADA encore West for our stay for six days and were very satisfied. We had our room on the fourth floor and the noise was not really a bad thing, but got used to it. If you were sensitive response, you should get a room to the parking lot in the back, although the hallways are very clairaudient. The rooms are clean, a bit spartan equipped (no closet), but that didn't bother sensitive. Therefor hairdryer and tea station and it seemed a bit larger, I believe. The bathroom was very modern equipped, I have enjoyed it very much. The rooms were always clean. The few elevators were in continuous service. I had the impression, that the hotel like school groups and business groups was used. The breakfast buffet was more than plentiful and very good. There is something for every taste. The staff was always very clean and re-filling of the buffets hard. There was free table choice. However, we have always found a place. The only downside was the bar staff. I ordered a drink, the room was advertised ('drink in a box'). This included two glasses of an alcoholic consuming, orange juice and a (for example) a small bag of chips. The lady at the front desk knew the bar and the bartender gave me this only to understand, that the, orange juice. Instead I got bitter lemon, which I didn't think was so bad, but they should know, what they offer it, that I must first explain, what I order...!? The easy access to the underground is okay, five minutes walking distance. You can travel approximately 20 minutes then in the city center of London. The station is not far from 'White City', a large shopping mall. The neighborhood itself is an industrial area, so pubs and restaurants are no nearby, at least we saw any. A possibility to shopping however. As we covered with sandwiches. All in all we were very pleased with this hotel and would recommend it for a London trip book again. For English conditions more than adequate.
