We loved this hotel! Yes you get in Manhattan general the last hotels for outrageous rates. So we decided for this 2 star hotel and didn't expect much. We do not have any reason to complain about anything. The room was small, but with a lot of storage space for our luggage, a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, desk, complimentary safe deposit box, TV, coffee and tea makers and a small area to the mp3-hear. It was super clean, not used and we had a nice breakfast including, juices, eggs, cereal, toast, rolls, donuts, pancakes, fruit, etc. was. It was convenient for something for everyone. The hotel also has a small exercise room, which is in good shape (we although we did not use it because we from walking through Manhattan evening always totally broken). We stayed on the 8th floor. Floor and had relatively quiet despite view over the street and could sleep in the large comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and always good advice on where to go. If you walk a block away is you are right in the middle of the subway station. From John F. Kennedy we by taxi about 50 minutes to the hotel and paid $45 fixed price. From the hotel to the airport the hotel offered us a shared taxi provided only $21 per person we had to pay.
