Great for a trip to NYC. *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt's an older place but very clean and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a small fitness room including, internet corner, washing machines and you can buy snacks. Breakfast is only served, the very American, so you will find rather than sausage rather donuts and all styrofoam. Oh well with the environment the Americans not so ... The hotel is a five minute walk from the path train station to ny away. we paid for a week per person about 30 £99 to Manhattan and to get back to the hotel. At a low rate of the hotel, it's really not a problem to pay 30 euros, 5 minutes to walk and then a 15 -20 min train to take part or? On the street station there is drugstore markets, McDonalds, subway etc.
Location
In new Jersey, as described above not expensive and elaborately into Manhattan. The fancier shopping or eating out is anyway to Manhattan and not in a residential area where the hotel is located. there is as far as I know no bars or "real" restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, but you are at night so broken anyway from ny, as they would just need the bed.
All very friendly and it is also very clean. The staff speaks English and Spanish.
Gastronomy
Only breakfast, definitely only American, which didn't bother you're in America. Unfortunately in Styrofoam, very umweltschützend, ugly and it didn't taste so delicious one of those cups to drink. So everything was very sweet and plastic. There are all the usual drinks, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, jam, a lot of pastries ... the breakfast room is more like a bad café by train station, but we were always very delicious full
Sport & Entertainment
oh well, you cannot rate as bad, it is a city hotel, it is not families or entertainment. There is a gym, TV and internet. (For the money, but also free if you have your laptop, etc. mithat)
Room
ours in the 2 . Floor was huge, 2 bedrooms, 2 TV, a safe, coffee machine, kettle, I think also an iron, hair dryer, microwave, large closets, refrigerator, huge beds. Everything was clean and our room was at the rear of the property and very quiet. It was room 215 . No balcony, but air conditioning. Everything was very old, but nothing broken.
Tips and recommendations
Definitely the best a week for ny plan, there is so much to see. In brooklyn there was nothing interesting for us, but it is great if you have 2 days the "all Loops" tour with the gray line hop on hop off bus made. You will find yourself along very well by the grid and the number of streets. If you find a restaurant in Chinatown, you should not compare with a Chinese restaurant with us. Everything fresh but extremely took some getting used to, less for tourist. A basketball game ny Knicks at Madison Square Garden is great, the ambiance is great. Also recommendable in the light of the empire state building and in the dark on top of the rocks (Rockefeller Center), you'll see the empire state building lit. In the esb there is no to the top floor, you pay extra and didn't look more, rather less because you slices. A helicopter ride is great, a trip on the circle line cruises to Manhattan rum. Evening walk over the Brooklyn bridge at dusk and definitely the statue of liberty!! central park is more than worth one whole day, he is huge and, especially, in the fall a dream. so, in spite of all the great impressions is huge, the city is easy strident, colorful and loud and I will not go back in a heartbeat. You could get a Woche.Viel fun and questions you could feel free to contact me.
